Mushroom Kingdom - [V1.7.1] PLEASE USE BOWLING CUP INSTEAD
Developer Last Online: Nov 2020
** DISCLAIMER ** I have added Mushroom Kingdom as part of a track pack. Please use that version instead as this page will no longer get updates. Inspired by the first 'Super Mario Bros.' game, it's the Mushroom Kingdom! Largely based on the SRB2 sprites for 'Mario Koopa Blast', this stage is an intermediate track split into four sections: Ground, Underground, Treetops (yes, those are trees), and a Castle. It's three laps long. I'd like to give credit to members of the KartKrew Discord server for assisting me on building my first map. I also want to thank 'FaytxStay' personally for helping me with the mini-map among other things. Changelog: V 1.0 - Official release V 1.1 - Adjusted brightness in a few spots: + The Fofs of 1-2 + Inside the castle (now darker) - Expanded the last pit of the underground on the slope side by a bit - Moved speed pad outside the castle forward a bit - Made the speed pad inside the castle by the flame thrower longer - Fix some of the castle interior that should've been off-road but wasn't V 1.2 - Fix a piece of off-road that refused to be a slope V 1.3 - This map is now a pk3 file! - Encore Palette now available - Added an arrow for the sharp left turn at the tree section - Another minor brightness adjustment - Fixed some misaligned sign textures V 1.4 - It's NOT in a zip folder! (sorry about last time) - Brightness adjustment - Added shatter blocks before final turn - Fences on trees are now mid-texture solid instead of impassible (you can drive over them if need be) - Fixed texture alignments - Added extra fence by item set in tree section - Moving platform is now bigger (may have graphical error due to be a poly object, I can't fix it :/ ) - Booster flats now scroll - Touched up decorations V 1.5 - Removed Goombas that caused server crashes - Added a checkpoint by the pipes outside the castle. Should fix the ranks from shuffling. - Also added two checkpoints in the castle, one in the spiral and another by the spring jump. V 1.6 - Adjusted some boost pad lengths so they may be used more - Added more checkpoints/waypoints to fix rank shuffling - Removed some random audience members to lower thing count - Flame thrower trap in bottom of Castle now replaced with lava pit (has arrows) V 1.7 - Replace 'Zoom Tube Waypoints' to proper 'Bossway Point' (whoops) - Added a small square of offroad in on the final turn in the castle section - Removed second pit in underground straightaway. Now it's some shatter blocks to give people an idea they can break in the first place Download Now

The Mushroom Kingdom is a Monarchy, with Princess Peach being heir to the Throne. The capital, as seen in Paper Mario, is Toad Town, however in Super Mario Odyssey, the capital is Peach's Castle. Though Princess Peach is human, the city is mostly populated by the Toads (called 'Kinopios' in Japan). Crazy Man (Mario) runs backwards across the Mushroom Kingdom; Music. The channel does air some music as well, as shown in SMG4: Mario and The Diss Track, airing two songs, Ultimate Diss Track and Darkest Hour. The channel does air some television shows, such as Dr. SMG3, before the show itself got cancelled.

Quarantine got you down? Cabin fever? Then join Juke (Luke Williams) on a Vacation in the Mushroom Kingdom, touring several classic themes from Mario Kart: Double Dash with an agreeably mellow & laid-back tropical acoustic vibe:
'My remix of 'Peach Beach and Daisy Cruiser' from the best Mario Kart game, Double Dash. A GameCube classic. I was going for the beach vibes. After remaking the first half, I mixed in a little bit of 'Sherbet Land,' 'Title Theme,' 'Rainbow Road,' 'Yoshi's Island,' and finally a little bit of the 'Race Won' music at the end. Hope you can enjoy it!'
I'm pretty sure the population of avid users of the word 'chillax' has steeply declined over the last decade, but if you're one of the few, proud clingers-on, you can most certainly chillax to this. Luke blends two different mallets, with plenty of rolls on each, acoustic guitar, a flute/wind lead, Hawaiian slide guitar, beach ambience, a nice drum groove, and a generally sunny disposition to great effect, chaining Kondo's melodies into a comfortable, bright, & cheery jam. prophetik music writes:
'hey, there's a lot of nuance here. i really appreciate the attention paid to the blurbs that come in and out (the slide guitar, wind chimes, etc), and to the marimba lead's variance of rolls. the countermelodies are nice and there is a ton of little things that come together to make this nice. i didn't mind the background being pretty static considering that it's short. i wouldn't have minded a bit less seabirds but that's more personal than anything.'

'There's two distinct halves here - one with a focus on a run-through with the melody, and a second with cameos moving along one after the other while going back into the primary source. Despite the autopilot nature, there' a lot of attention to articulations, realism and subtractive arranging underneath it all. And for some reason, I felt stunned to hear more of a focus on the theme from Yoshi's Story (not Yoshi's Island, as stated) throughout the break - a pleasing easter egg from a completely separate Mario spinoff, and I'm always happy to hear surprises.'
Indeed; while this is enjoyable & (dead horse) quite chill/mellow, there's a lot going on, the instrumentation has a good deal of variety, the arrangement is flexible enough to work in some additional themes without seeming meandering, and the whole package is relaxing AND engaging. Great Carribean/tropical acoustic escapism from Juke!
